Merge PDF files

Combine two or more PDFs into a single document. Drag files to set the order.

How to merge PDF files online

To merge PDF files, add two or more PDFs to the tool, drag them into the order you want, and click Merge. PDF Editor Box joins the pages into one new PDF, and nothing is stored. The merged file keeps the original page sizes, text, links, and image quality.

Step by step

Three steps. Most files take a few seconds.

  1. Step 1: Add your PDFs

Drop the files onto the page or click Choose files. You can add more at any time.

  2. Step 2: Set the order

Drag the file cards to reorder them. The first card becomes the first pages of the merged file.

  3. Step 3: Merge and download

Click Merge PDF. The download starts in seconds.

Why use this tool

  • Keeps everything intact

Pages are copied, not re-rendered. Text stays searchable, links keep working, and images are not recompressed.

  • Any page sizes

Mix portrait, landscape, A4, and Letter pages in one file. Each page keeps its own size.

  • Fast on large files

Merging is done by copying page objects, so even hundreds of pages finish in a moment.

Your file is never stored

Your document is used only to produce the result you asked for. Once the download is ready and you leave the page, the file is gone. There is no copy to keep, no account that holds it, and nothing to delete later.

That makes it safe for invoices, contracts, bank statements, ID scans, medical records, and anything else you would rather keep to yourself.

Frequently asked questions

How do I merge PDF files into one?

Open the Merge PDF tool, add your files, drag them into order, and click Merge PDF. The merged file downloads to your device. You do not need an account or any software.

Can I change the page order inside a file after merging?

Yes. Use the Rearrange PDF tool on the merged file to drag individual pages into a new order, or Remove Pages to delete pages you do not need.

Does merging reduce quality?

No. The pages are copied exactly as they are. Fonts, images, and vector graphics are preserved without recompression.

How many PDFs can I merge at once?

There is no fixed limit. Most people merge between two and twenty files. The memory of your computer or phone is the only constraint.

Is it safe to use this with confidential documents?

Yes. Your file is used only to produce the result you asked for and is never stored. We do not keep copies, read the contents, or share them with anyone. Once you download the result and close the page, the file is gone.

Is this really free?

Yes. Every tool on PDF Editor Box is free to use without signing up. We may show an ad outside the work area, but we never gate features, add watermarks to your output, or limit how many files you process.
