How to PDF to Word online

How do I convert a PDF to Word for free?

Why does it say my PDF has no text?
The PDF is a scan with no text layer, so there is nothing to extract and the Word file would be empty. This tool does not perform OCR yet; it is on our roadmap.
Are images and tables converted?
Yes. Images are placed where they sat on the page, and tables drawn with ruling lines become real Word tables with their cells and shading. Tables without visible lines come through as aligned text.
Will the formatting match the PDF?
Closely. Fonts are mapped to the nearest Word font, and sizes, colours, bold and italic, alignment, indents, and page size are kept. Choose Exact layout if you want every line pinned to its position rather than flowing paragraphs.
Is it safe to use this with confidential documents?
Yes. Your file is used only to produce the result you asked for and is never stored. We do not keep copies, read the contents, or share them with anyone. Once you download the result and close the page, the file is gone.
